Black Hybrid

 Bold and dark bath bomb colourant! The color black represents strength, seriousness, power, and authority. Black is a formal, elegant, and prestigious color.

Hybrid lakes have been designed with you in mind. If you love the vibrancy that lakes give your bath bomb but are missing out out on the deep coloured bath water that dyes are known for look no further.

Hybrids have been designed to give both the deep coloured bath bomb as well as bath water. We have created the perfect ratio of lake/dye combination eliminating the guesswork for you. 

Use as you would a lake. 

Approximately 1 tsp per 2 cups baking soda, you may use more for deeper shades. Poly 80 is required to avoid pigments sticking to tubs and bodies. 

Adding your lake to your oils and mixing before adding to your dry ingredients will help achieve a deeper colour.

TIP* RUBBING YOUR MIXTURE BETWEEN YOUR PALMS TO CREATE FRICTION WILL HELP BRING OUT THE COLOUR. EXPECT 5 OR MORE MIN. OF RUBBING MIXTURE TO ACHIEVE BEST COLOUR. (Using mixer does not create enough friction for full colour potential) 

Black hybrid may require even more attention, rub mixture to create deep dark black powder.
