Easy No-Heat Body Butter Recipe Using Fizz Fairy's Body Butter Base
If you’re a fan of rich, creamy body butter but don’t want to deal with the hassle of heating and thickening, this no-heat recipe is perfect for you! We’ve shared other body butter recipes on our blog before, but this one is unique because it requires minimal preparation, and no need to heat the entire base!

Ingredients:
- 1200 grams Body Butter Base
- 24 grams Shea Butter (or butter of your choice)
- 24 grams Love Spell Fragrance Oil (or fragrance oil of your choice)

- Large Bowl for Mixing

Small Microwave-Safe Bowl or Measuring Cup
- Mixing Spoon or Stand Mixer
- Ziploc Bag or Piping Bag
- Paper Towel
- Safety Equipment (Gloves, Protective Eyewear, Mask)
- 12 x 3.3 oz jars
Instructions:
Step 1: Melt the Shea Butter
Using a digital scale, weigh 24 grams of Shea butter in a microwave-safe container or heatproof measuring cup. Melt the butter using short 20-30 second bursts in the microwave, stirring in between to prevent overheating. Once fully melted and liquid, set it aside to cool slightly while you prepare the base.
Step 2: Measure the Body Butter Base
In a large mixing bowl, weigh 1200 grams of Fizz Fairy’s Body Butter Base. Use a clean spoon or spatula to gently stir the base before adding any ingredients.
Step 3: Add the Fragrance Oil and Shea Butter
Weigh 24 grams of Fizz Fairy Fragrance Oil: Lovespell (or another fragrance of your choice). Add the fragrance oil into the body butter base. Also add in the melted butter to the base at this time.
Step 4: Mix the Ingredients
Now you want to mix the ingredients together. If using a mixing spoon, stir thoroughly for about 5 minutes to fully incorporate the fragrance and melted butter. For best results, use a stand mixer with a whisk or paddle attachment (dedicated to bath & body use). Mix on low speed for 1-2 minutes, then increase to medium speed for another 2-3 minutes until the texture is light, creamy, and uniform.
Step 5: Prepare for Filling
Scoop the body butter mixture into a large Ziploc bag or a piping bag. If using a Ziploc bag, snip off a small corner to create an opening for dispensing. If you have neither of these options available, you can also use a spoon to transfer the body butter into your jars.
Step 6: Fill the Jars
Holding each jar steady, gently pipe the body butter into the container, filling up to the bottom of the rim. If needed, use a small spoon to smooth the top.
Step 7: Remove Air Bubbles & Clean Up
Lightly tap each jar on your work surface and wiggle them side to side to release any trapped air bubbles. Use a paper towel to wipe away any excess butter from the jar edges for a clean, professional finish.
Step 8: Let the Body Butter Set
Leave the jars uncovered for 2-3 hours to allow the melted Shea butter to cool and integrate fully. Once set, secure the lids tightly and label your jars.
